Dr. Dipankar Maity is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Charlotte, NC, USA. Prior to this, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA. He received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University, India, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, in 2018. During his Ph.D., he was a Visiting Scholar at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.

Dr. Maity’s research interests include assured autonomy; safety, privacy, and control of learning-enabled systems; multi-agent systems; stochastic games; and information theory, along with their integration in robotics and cyber–physical systems. He is a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Signal and Information Processing over Networks and IEEE Control Systems Letters.
