Note from the Director from UNC Charlotte’s Center for TAIMing AI’s Inagural Newsletter

The Center for TAIMing AI published its inaugural newsletter on November 26, 2024, the newsletter included the following note from the Director:

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the Center for TAIMing AI! We are excited about the possibility of collaborating with you and your team. We hope our collaboration will lead to new ideas for research in the emerging area of AI model risk management. Our team is working to develop new programming for training and professional development in this emerging area and will be offering these programs to meet the needs of the industry and government sector as well as strengthen connections among industry, government sector, and academia. More information about our programming will be available during the Spring. This is our first e-newsletter to keep you updated with upcoming and past events and news of the center. Please feel free to provide feedback on what else you would like to us communicate. We look forward to our future conversations as you continue to engage with our center.
