Andrew Pangia

Andrew Pangia is the Inaugural Postdoctoral Scholar with the Center for Trustworthy AI through Model risk management (TAIMing AI) since September 2023. He obtained his PhD from Clemson University in May 2023, where he worked on parametric optimization—maximization under constraints where some costs are unknown at the time of solving. He currently works on incorporating fairness metrics into model development through data preprocessing in order to maintain data privacy and limit model bias while keeping accuracy at acceptable levels.
